About us

Frances Henson and Michael Lancaster are the humans behind Suspiria Shorthairs, located near Peterborough,  Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom. We are dedicated to breeding healthy, happy, and well-socialized British Shorthair kittens. Our passion for these cats drives us to maintain the highest standards of care and ethical breeding practices. Our cats are all UK GCCF Registered with some also FIFE registered. We regularly show our cats with both GCCF and FIFE. We are members of the Southern British Shorthair Cat Club, of which Frances is a committee member.

Our breeding philosophy

We believe in responsible breeding practices that prioritize the health and well-being of our cats. Our kittens are raised with love and care, ensuring they are ready to thrive in their new homes. All our cats are PKD negative and we adhere to the GCCF British Shorthair Breeding Policy. We are committed to providing ongoing support and guidance to our kitten owners.
